Background and Degree

Hilke has been part of the TWE team since mid-2022, where she already worked as a student assistant during her architecture studies. She is interested in the design and construction of sustainable concepts and solutions with a focus on urban mining strategies and the reuse of existing building elements to drive circular construction. The particular focus of her research is on the reuse of structural steel in hybrid systems with natural materials.
