HNA Report: Dr. Elina Khachatryan goes to the 6th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting on Economic Sciences

Dr. Elina Khachatryan, together with another IVWL researcher Benjamin Schwanebeck from the Chair of « Geld, Kredit und Währung » were selected to take part at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting on Economic Sciences 2017. The HNA («Hessische Niedersächsische Allgemeine») has published an interview with the researchers (in German) shortly before they left for the meeting.

Both of the selected researchers from Kassel additionally had the tremendous opportunity to present their work at this Meeting and receive personalized feedback from the Laureates.

Short summary of the report:
From 22nd to 26th of August, 17 Nobel Laureates on Economic Sciences will meet 360 young researchers from all around the world in Lindau. 90 of those young researchers are additionally selected to present their work in a short presentation of five minutes. Dr. Elina Khachatryan presented her current research about cheating in a competitive setting and Benjamin Schwanebeck presented his research in the field of shadow banking systems.
