Celebrating Doctoral Awards

Dear doctoral candidates,
Congratulations on the successful completion of your doctorate!

In order to appropriately honor your achievements and commitment over the past few years, we will be holding an academic celebration for doctoral candidates in our department for the first time on 21.11.2019. The "Celebrating Doctoral Awards" are the ceremonial conclusion of the "Science Talent Day", which we are also holding for the first time for the department's early career researchers. All doctoral candidates who have successfully completed their dissertation since May 2018 are cordially invited. We would be delighted to welcome you to your old alma mater!

The official start is at 18:00 in the university's new Campus Center (CC). The champagne reception starts at 17:30 in the foyer. In addition to the presentation of the certificates, an interesting supporting program is planned. The ceremony will end at around 19:30. In addition to the successful doctoral candidates, all academic staff of the department, our professors and doctoral alumni are also invited to the Celebrating Doctoral Awards. Following the official ceremony, there will be ample opportunity for further discussion in a relaxed atmosphere. We will of course provide drinks for sale.
The teaching units of Economics and Business Law will be awarding a science prize. All doctoral candidates who have successfully completed their disputation between 16.05.2018 and 31.10.2019 will be considered.
