Last week, the Vocational and Business Education Unit took part in the annual conference of the DGfE Vocational and Business Education Section (BWP) with a total of five active contributions.

• Discussion of the symposium "Training quality: models, measurement and empirical findings" (organized by Prof. Dr. Philipp Struck and Prof. Dr. Viola Deutscher) by Prof. Dr. Michael Goller
• Poster contribution "Vocational school teachers in the digital age: perspectives on work processes and digital adaptations" by Verena Pfeiffer and Prof. Dr. Michael Goller
• Poster contribution "Digitalization in commercial professions: Training needs and challenges for teachers" by Verena Pfeiffer, Roman Höhl, Florestine Alexander, Theresa Bauer, André Schulz, Prof. Dr. Michael Goller and Prof. Dr. Manuel Förster
• Poster contribution "Success factors and predictors of practical instruction in nursing: initial findings and further research implications" by Roman Höhl, Prof. Dr. Silke Trumpa and Prof. Dr. Michael Goller
• Discussion of the symposium "Teaching statistics in vocational and business education courses - challenges, concepts, findings" (organized by Prof. Dr. Martin Kenner) by Prof. Dr. Michael Goller

Prof. Dr. Michael Goller also moderated the session "Professional interests and expectations" in the Early Career Researchers section of the conference.

The conference at the Technical University of Darmstadt was excellently organized and offered fruitful insights into current research topics as well as opportunities for discourse and networking. The next BWP section conference will take place next year in Rostock.
