Within the framework of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs "Business Education" (examination regulations 2014), our department offers four courses (modules):

Bachelor's program:

  • Business Didactics I (WD I): Introduction to Business Didactics Theory, Curriculum and Instruction Development (9 credits)
    Summer semester

Master's Program:

  • Business Didactics II (WD II): Business and Economics Curriculum and Instructional Research (6 credits)
    Winter Semester & Summer Semester
  • Business Didactics III (WD III): Project on Business-Vocational Teaching/Learning Processes in the Vocational Field of Business and Administration (9 credits)
    Winter Semester & Summer Semester
  • School Practical Studies II (SPS II): Practicum Module (6 credits)
    winter semester & summer semester

Please take into account, dear students, that the business didactics modules build on each other in terms of content and thus enable your competence development process. This is best achieved if the modules are taken one after the other in the sense of beginner:in, advanced:in and expert:in courses, as suggested in the sample curricula. Against this background, taking the modules at the same time or in a different order is not recommended. It is more likely to lead to problems when taking your exams and is not conducive to the development of your professionalism.

Another important note regarding the Master's course offerings in the field of "Business Education with a Focus on Professional Teaching and Learning":

Due to the regular BA module "Business Didactics I" in the summer semester (and the associated exhausted teaching capacities), there are generally fewer business didactics courses offered in the summer semester than in the winter semester. Please take this into account when planning your studies!

The modules are located in the sample curricula as shown in the figure below:

The basic module rotation applies subject to necessary adjustments. Please check our homepage and the student management system HIS regularly for information on our course offerings.

For detailed information on the structure and course of study as well as the contents of the modules, please refer to the current examination regulations.

During the semester, the teaching-learning processes of our department are coordinated via Moodle.
