The WISE team took part in the Academy of Management 2025 in Copenhagen.

The conference provided an excellent platform for the exchange of ideas and research results in the field of information systems. A particular highlight was the PDW "Design Research on Artificial Intelligence: Challenges, Opportunities, and Frontiers" with Lan Sang, Ahmed Abbasi, Anuschka Schmitt, Leona Chandra Kruse, Jeffrey Parsons, Yash Raj Shrestha, Gemza Ademaj and Ramayya Krishnan - special thanks to Savindu Herath for making this possible.

Title: Development and evaluation of LegalWriter - An AI-based learning system for structured legal writing

In this session, Matthias Söllner presented key findings from the development and evaluation of LegalWriter, which was developed by Florian Weber. LegalWriter is an AI-based learning system that supports law students in mastering the art of structured legal writing.

The talk focused on how we are building on two recent methodological advances to ensure a rigorous and reflective design process:
