Philipp Händel has been selected to participate in this year's EAERE-ETH European Winter School. The Winter School is organized by the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) and ETH Zurich and takes place in close proximity to Lake Maggiore in Ascona, Switzerland. It is aimed at young researchers in the field of environmental and resource economics. The theme of the Winter School 2022 is "Natural resources and development in resource-rich countries".

The Winter School will explore ways to uncover causal links between resource abundance and socioeconomic outcomes, as well as some of the cutting-edge datasets published in recent years. In addition to lectures by renowned scientists, participants will work on tailored exercises and receive valuable feedback on their current research. Philipp Händel will also have the opportunity to present his current research.
