From 08.05. to 10.05.2023, the 25th Doctoral Seminar on IT, Service, Innovation and Collaboration (WISIC) took place at the Square of the HSG. The event served to promote the exchange between the participating doctoral students, post-docs and professors of the universities of Kassel, St. Gallen and Osnabrück and to gain new impulses for the respective dissertation projects.

A total of 23 PhD students participated in the workshop and presented their topics in different formats such as relevance pitches, idea presentations, proposals and journal paper projects, depending on their PhD progress and status. The wide range of research areas of the participating chairs was reflected in the topics presented.

Through intensive discussions with other PhD students as well as professors and post-docs, participants were able to advance their dissertation projects and gain valuable feedback and new ideas. The opportunity to build peer groups with other participants also contributed to the success of the seminar.

Another highlight of the WISIC was the Gschwelltibuffett evening, hosted by Walter and Barbara Brenner. The participants enjoyed the culinary delights and took the opportunity to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
