We look back on a successful participation in WI2024, the most important conference of the German-speaking business informatics community, from 16.09. - 19.09.2024 in Würzburg at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.

Our department was represented by a large number of contributions and roles, including

• Leonie Freise and Ulrich Bretschneider with the paper "Completing the Skills Puzzle: Developing a Skills Profile Data Model"
• Leonie Freise, Ulrich Bretschneider and Sarah Oeste-Reiß with the paper "Skills in Flux - Challenges in AI-based Skills Management and Skills Profiles"
• Kristin Geffers, Ulrich Bretschneider and Dr Karen Eilers with the paper "Conceptualizing the Agile Mindset in Agile Software Development Teams"
• Anna Hupe with the paper "When to Use Smart Contracts Instead of Traditional Contracts - A Conceptual Analysis"
  
• Mahei Li was session chair of the "Service Engineering and Management" track.
• Andreas Janson, Jan Marco Leimeister, Sofia Schöbel and Niels Pinkwart were Track Chairs of the "Digital Education & Learning" track.
• Sarah Oeste-Reiß acted as Associate Editor of the "Digital Education & Learning" track.
• Anna Hupe took part in the Doctoral Consortium.
