From December 2024 to April 2025, Dennis Benner completed his studies at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Chee-wee Tan and as part of the Graduate School Scholarship¹ at the Department of Management and Marketing in the Management Information Systems research group at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During his stay, he focused on exploring the potential of generative artificial intelligence to overcome conversational abandonment in chatbots in the field of customer service.

During his stay, he also took part in the symposia "Excellent Teachers on Teaching Excellence - Strategic Planning in Higher Education: Learning and Teaching Perspectives" and "AI in Marketing Symposium - 'AI and Common Sense: Revitalizing Marketing Strategies'". He also took part in the cultural program at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, including a study trip to Guangzhou.

In March, Dr. Andreas Janson visited the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for a research lecture on "Learning to Manage the Algorithm: Leveraging Worked Examples for Advanced Prompt Engineering Strategies" in the context of the research stay.
