On May 22, 2025, Verena Pfeiffer gave a guest lecture at the DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen for students of the Digital Business Management bachelor's degree program with Prof. Dr. Jens Heiling. The focus was on the topic of scientific work with a focus on literature reviews with AI using the ASReview tool as an example. Verena Pfeiffer clearly explained how AI-supported tools can facilitate the literature review process and what special features need to be taken into account.

This included the development of a current practical example: the poster paper she recently presented at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) conference Digitalization of Work: A Systematic Review through a Learning and Development Perspective (link to the poster), was also developed with the help of ASReview and provides a systematic overview of the effects of digitalization on working environments from the perspective of learning and professional development. The poster is part of the DiWiBe project by Prof. Michael Goller (University of Kassel) and Prof. Manuel Förster (TU Munich) (link to project) and was met with great interest at the international conference.

The event provided a practical insight into how digital tools can support academic work. Verena Pfeiffer thus made an important contribution to the development of students' digital skills.
