A major event was held yesterday to launch the new accompanying research project, which will support the implementation of the modernization agendas of the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and State Modernization was launched yesterday at a large event. Following the opening remarks by Minister Karsten Wildberger , there were various panel discussions on state modernization at the Hertie School in Berlin.

During the closing panel—moderated by Dr. Dominik Böllhoff —the role that academia can play in the modernization of the state was also discussed. In addition to our department head, Caroline Fischer, Ines Mergel, Thurid Hustedt, Stefan Kühl and Thomas Wischmeyer are participating in the project as researchers.
