On July 9, 2026, the Department of Business Informatics (Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister) at the University of Kassel celebrated its annual summer party.

The team of research assistants and research group leaders kicked off the afternoon with a team-building event: A group rafting trip on the Fulda River provided an opportunity to leave the daily grind behind, strike up conversations with one another, and strengthen team spirit.

In the evening, the summer party continued with a group dinner. Together with the student assistants and alumni of the department, the team wrapped up the day in a relaxed atmosphere. The summer party provided a wonderful opportunity to nurture existing relationships and strengthen cohesion within the department.
