The speakers, Frank Dittmar, President of the Chamber of Crafts, Dr.-Ing. Andrea Schneider (University of Kassel) and Prof. Dr. Patrick Spieth exchanged ideas to combat the shortage of skilled workers in the handcraft sector.

Current pressures on handcraft enterprises were highlighted, such as how to deal with digital and ecological transformation. Other potential solutions to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in the long term were also discussed.
