The WISE team presented and discussed several research papers at ICIS2021 in Austin, Texas. ICIS is the leading international conference in Information Systems, where conference papers are ranked A according to VHB JourQual 3. The theme of this year's conference was "Building Sustainability and Resilience with IS: A Call for Action" and was held from December 12-15, 2021. In total, the following three papers, produced in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), were presented:

Florian Weber's paper, which was written in collaboration with colleagues from the University of St.Gallen, was also nominated for the Best Theory Paper Award of the conference.

After the conference, the chair team toured Texas and was able to gather some impressions about the Lone State, nature and culture.
