Professor Leimeister appointed to the Editorial Board of the renowned Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS)

Professor Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Director at the Scientific Center for IT Design (ITeG) at the University of Kassel, has been appointed to the Editorial Board of the renowned Journal of Management Information Systems(JMIS). According to the current JOURQUAL3 rating of the Association of University Professors of Business Administration e.V. (VHB), JMIS is the highest ranked journal in the field of management information systems.(VHB), JMIS is the highest ranked A-journal in the field of information systems (alongside two other A+ journals) and is one of the eight most influential journals worldwide in the"Senior Scholar's Basket of Journals" of the Association for Information Systems(AIS), the leading professional scientific association in the field of information systems / information systems. It is also one of (only) three journals in the Information Systems field to be included in the influential "Financial Times 50 List" of the world's most important journals in the field of business administration.

Professor Leimeister was appointed to the Editorial Board of JMIS by Professor Vladimir Zwass, the journal's founder and Editor-in-Chief for decades.
