Doctoral Researcher Day 2025
English version below
Dear doctoral candidates,
dear doctoral candidates,
dear faculty members, dear colleagues,
We cordially invite you to this year's Doctoral Researcher Day on November 13, 2025. You can look forward to an afternoon full of inspiration, exchange and networking - with exciting perspectives on research and doctoral studies at our department.
Lisa Niendorf, educational researcher and science communicator, who is known to many through her work on Instagram as "FrauForschung", among other things, will kick things off. In her lecture "Doctoral studies in the mirror of power - supervision, dependency and scope for action", she will shed light on key issues relating to supervision, dependencies and power structures in academia. Further information on the speaker can be found here: FrauForschung
Afterwards, we would like to engage in a panel discussion with representatives of various status groups: How are supervisory relationships structured in the doctoral phase? Where are the opportunities, where are the challenges?
In the second part of the event (Doctoral Award Ceremony), awards will be presented and honored to doctoral candidates who have successfully completed their doctorate this year. The final get-together offers the opportunity to exchange ideas over dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.
Date: Thursday, November 13, 2025
Time and place: from 15:00 in the Gießhaus (Mönchebergstraße 5)
Program:see here
The registration deadline has now expired, please send an e-mail to the Dean's Office so that we can check whether participation is still possible). Catering will of course be provided.
We look forward to a stimulating and inspiring afternoon and/or evening with you.
Kind regards
