Faculty Club 07

The Faculty Club is located in Nora-Platiel-Straße 4 on the first floor (Wiso A, room 0215); it serves first and foremost as a place for discussions. The use is only possible if

1.     at least one colleague from Faculty 07 is involved, and
2.     takes responsibility for leaving the room as it was found. Or more nicely.

Examples of uses:
-     The odd jour fixe
-     Meetings of groups involved in university politics
-     Meetings with members of other departments
-     Meet & Greet with (international and other) guests
-     Spontaneous conversations
-     Small celebrations of successful doctorates 
-     Residence possibility for colleg:inside, which do not have their office at the HoPla.

The room can only be reserved for certain times, for others spontaneous and non-exclusive use is always possible. Room reservations are handled by the Dean's Office: Please send an e-mail with your reservation request to fb07-dekanat[at]uni-kassel[dot]de - Ms. Döring, Ms. Tisafalvi or Ms. Werner will book the reservation via the Outlook calendar.

Among other things, there is a foosball table and a refrigerator with drinks. And there is a cash register, into which (at least) one euro per drink is to be thrown, please. Tea, coffee (if necessary including UHT milk from the fridge) and sparkling water have to be produced with the available machines, can be paid from FG funds according to the guideline for the reimbursement of hospitality costs ("current operating expenses are the usual gestures of courtesy [mineral water, coffee, tea and simple pastries], which are offered to the guests of the university") and are - like occasionally available cookies - free for the consumers.

Coffee/tea cups and glasses can be found in the room. Since there is no water connection and therefore no dishwasher, these are to be taken away at the end of a meeting and, if possible, cleaned and dried on the same day and put back in the cupboard. Empty deposit bottles may please be deposited in the appropriately labeled container, as the deposit is not included in the one euro.
