In April, the department's team attended the first conference of the newly founded European Network for Public Administration (ENPA) in Bucharest, which took place for the first time this year. The conference took place under the motto "Shaping the future of public administration in Europe together". The department's team presented current research findings. As part of the doctoral seminar, Simon Willgosch-Eckert presented the current status of one of his PhD articles on the relationship between the performance of public administration and democratic stability, which is being co-authored with Caroline Fischer. Jakob Kühler and Caroline Fischer presented the first results of a joint research paper on the role formation of so-called digital change agents in the Study Group on Public Personnel Policies.
