Luzie Thiel will present her research paper "Monetary Policy and Inequality: a Two-way Relation" at the "27th International Conference on Macroeconomic Analysis and International Finance". The conference will take place in Rethymno from May 25 to 27, 2023.

The research examines the two-way relationship between monetary policy and inequality using a New Keynesian model with heterogeneous agents and shows that inequality can amplify the transmission of monetary policy.
