Luzie Thiel will present her research paper "Monetary Policy and Inequality: a Two-way Relation" at the "27th International Conference on Macroeconomic Analysis and International Finance". The conference will be held in Rethymno, May 25-27, 2023.

The discussion paper is available in the "Joint Discussion Paper Series in Economics". The research paper examines the two-way relationship between monetary policy and inequality using a New Keynesian model with heterogeneous agents and shows that inequality can amplify the transmission of monetary policy.
