Luzie Thiel is taking part in the 21st Annual European Economics and Finance Society Conference(EEFS, 15.06.-18.06.) in Berlin, the International Conference on Economic Modeling and Data Science(EcoMod, 03.07.-05.07.) in Prague and the 10th Meeting of the Society for the Study of Economic Inequality(ECINEQ, 10.07.-12.07.) in Aix-en-Provence. She will present her research paper "Monetary Policy and Inequality: a Two-way Relation" at the conference.

The discussion paper is available in the "Joint Discussion Paper Series in Economics". The research examines the two-way relationship between monetary policy and inequality using a New Keynesian model with heterogeneous agents and shows that inequality can amplify the transmission of monetary policy.
