Luzie Thiel has been invited by the AEA to present her research on the reciprocal relationship between monetary policy and inequality (Discussion Paper "Monetary Policy and Inequality: a Two-way Relation") at the AEA Poster Session of the 2024 Annual Meetingto be presented. The conference will take place from January 5-7 in San Antonio, Texas.

The discussion paper is available in the "Joint Discussion Paper Series in Economics". The research examines the two-way relationship between monetary policy and inequality using a New Keynesian model with heterogeneous agents and shows that inequality can amplify the transmission of monetary policy.
