Kijan Vakilzadeh studierte Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Business Studies an der Universität Kassel. Im Rahmen seines Studiums besuchte er darüber hinaus für ein Semester die Grifftith University in Queensland, Australien.

Herr Vakilzadeh konzentriert sich im Rahmen seiner Forschung insbesondere auf das Themengebiet der "Organisationalen Resilienz". Hier erforscht er, wie Organisationen Krisen und Extremsituationen überwinden können.
