The University of Kassel has integrated equality into the instruments of management and quality assurance and strengthened it as a strategic management task. Gender equality is anchored in the University of Kassel's target agreement with the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts for the years 2016 to 2020, in the University of Kassel's mission statement and in the University of Kassel's development plan for the years 2020 to 2024.
In addition, Faculty 10 has adopted its own decentralized gender equality concept, in which measures for structural support are anchored, and is thus committed to promoting equality of all genders.
