Organic climate vegetables at the organic field days

This year's Organic Field Days will take place at the Wassergut Canitz organic farm from June 18-19. Our colleague Hanna Pohlmann will present the interim results of the "Organic Climate Vegetables" project, which highlights water-saving cultivation methods and local value creation of organic vegetables.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday from 14:00-14:45 in the Plant, Resources & Water Forum and will look at potentials and obstacles in adapting to climate change in vegetable production and marketing in northern Hesse. She will be joined by her colleague Benjamin Ruch, who will give a brief insight into the extent to which organic mulch can influence the water balance in leek cultivation.
