H44 Special animal breeding (for organic animal husbandry)

We are Lisa Jung and Anna Olschewsky from the Department of Animal Breeding and will be coordinating the above-mentioned BSc. module from summer semester 2022. Unlike in previous years, it will not be offered as a block but as a continuous course. In terms of content, we have also set a new focus on sustainable breeding strategies for organic animal husbandry and the importance of animal breeding for the organic sector.

It will be an exciting module with lots of interactive moments and interesting contributions from various external speakers. We have also planned two smaller excursions to practical projects.

We are very much looking forward to a lively participation!
