Moritz Schmitthenner

Moritz is a doctoral candidate and research employee in the section of International Agricultural Policy and Environmental Governance. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Goethe University Frankfurt and his master’s degree in geography from the University of Paris 8 Vincennes–Saint-Denis. His research focuses on the governance of socio-ecological change, with an emphasis on agroecology, water governance, and socio-technical systems. He is currently working on the REGINA project, which examines regional agricultural (and landscape) transformation through adapted management strategies for biogas plants.
