Introduction

Matthias Wengert is a research assistant and PhD-Student at the department of Grassland Science and Renewable Plant Resources at the University of Kassel. His research focus is remote sensing in agroforestry systems. He is working in the project “SIGNAL – Sustainable Intensification through Agroforestry”, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Herein he specializes in the development of drone-based remote sensing methods for surveying plant parameters in silvoarable and silvopastoral agroforestry systems.
