On 19.07.2019 the disputation of Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Dipl. math. Niederhöfer took place. Mr. Niederhöfer was a member of the Emmy-Noether junior research group mismo for a total of 5 years; among other things, he also contributed to the development of the research code dockSIM. The title of his PhD thesis is "A method for coupling molecular and continuum mechanical models using translational and rotational degrees of freedom". We congratulate him warmly for passing the exam.
