City. Country. Bus. - "Forest site" opened as part of the SDG+ Lab

Stops are usually places of transition - a few minutes between arrival and departure. But what if they could do more? What if waiting time became meeting time, concrete became greenery and a stop became a connecting space between city, countryside and nature?

With the greening of the "Achenbachstraße" stop, the Department of Transport Planning and Transport Systems wants to try out exactly that: create a better quality of life, make the connection between city, countryside and nature visible and open up new perspectives on public transport.

The green "forest site" was officially opened on 24.09.2025 and will remain open until 24.10.2025. It will be accompanied by a varied supporting program of free events: www.sdgpluslab.de/waldestelle
