Many thanks to Ms. Elvira Berndt for almost 43 years of service at the University of Kassel. Today, Professor Middendorf bid farewell to Ms. Berndt on her well-deserved retirement. In 1977, Ms. Berndt was employed as a secretary in the Dean's Office at the former Kassel University of Applied Sciences. From 1981, she worked as a foreign language secretary in the Department of Civil Engineering (Department of Building Materials Science) and provided excellent support to the leading professors with her reliability, professional competence, experience, loyalty and friendliness.
The entire department would like to congratulate her on her retirement.
Her experience, reliability and friendliness will be greatly missed.
