Dear graduates,

Congratulations on the successful completion of your studies.

In keeping with a long-standing tradition, graduates were presented with their degree certificates in an academic ceremony in the summer and winter semesters in our department's Gießhaus. This ceremony was always a highlight of the semester for the graduates, but also for the professors and supervisors.

Due to the measures taken to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to cancel the graduation ceremony planned for May 5, 2020. Unfortunately, celebrations on the scale of graduation ceremonies are still not possible at the University of Kassel in the medium to long term, so we also had to cancel the graduation ceremony planned for

November 10, 2020 and unfortunately have to cancel it now. We have intensively discussed alternatives, such as an online event, in all groups and unanimously assessed them as inappropriate.

The graduation ceremony will therefore be postponed indefinitely for the time being. As soon as a new date is in sight, we will inform you via the homepage.
