On July 20, a "knowledge repository" of the University of Kassel was opened in the Königsgalerie. For one month, 100 ideas for a sustainable world of tomorrow will be presented there. The Department of Construction Materials and Construction Chemistry is represented with the HMV eco-concrete project, in which recycled household waste incineration ash from the Kassel waste-to-energy plant can be returned to the material cycle as a component of concrete in a regional collaboration.
