Excursion week with the Institute of Transportation

A week full of exciting insights lies behind us! Together with interested Bachelor's and Master's students, we explored Wuppertal, Cologne and Frankfurt.

The program was just as diverse as our institute: suspension railroad in Wuppertal, bridge construction site, asphalt mixing plant, bicycle traffic promotion, urban logistics, innovative public transport projects, subway construction site, on-demand traffic and the latest bicycle trends at the Eurobike.

During these five days, our students were able to experience and deepen what they had learned in lecture halls and seminar rooms in the real world - in our view, such experiences are priceless for later professional practice.
