On 30 September, the IHK LabTalk with Prof. Kirchner took place on the topic of "Progressive digitalization of the construction industry". The format was organized in cooperation with the IHK Kassel-Marburg.

Prof. Kirchner gave a comprehensive insight into current developments such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital twins and artificial intelligence and put them into context. Both possible applications and the limitations of the various methods were highlighted.

The subsequent discussion with the participants was particularly exciting, with a lively exchange of experiences from practice and science.
