On February 19 and 20, 2026, the faculty gathered at the Evangelische Akademie Hofgeismar for a work-intensive closed meeting. Under the moderation of Dr. Roland Kischkel (retired Chancellor of the University of Wuppertal) and Meike Mach (Department of Strategic Human Resources Development at the University of Kassel), the Dean's Office, Faculty Council and professors spent two days in a constructive atmosphere discussing topics relating to structural and development planning (reorganization of the institutes, synergies in the area of experimental facilities), course development (student marketing, positioning on dual degree courses) and research communication. In the process, numerous stakes were set for future content-related projects, the concrete implementation of which is now pending in the current planning period.
