The 2026 Steel Construction Calendar focuses on the revision of the Eurocode in the field of steel construction and provides guidance on the application of the new standards through explanatory notes. Specifically, it covers the changes in DIN EN 1993-1-1, the new Part 1-9—Ice Loads—of Eurocode 1, as well as the new developments in FprEN 1993-3—Towers, Masts, and Chimneys. We are particularly pleased that Mathias Clobes, together with Kay-Uwe Bernhardt and Klaus Thiele, contributed the article on FprEN 1993-3.
