De­part­ment of Traf­fic En­gi­nee­ring and Lo­gis­tics

The department has been founded in 1992. It deals with the rules of traffic flows and its controlling by taking into account the management of vehicle fleets. The research programmes as well as the lectures include freight and passenger transport on the road, rail, water- and airway.

The aim of the institute's lectures is to pass on knowledge about complex traffic problems and to handle the development and the assessment of traffic strategies and traffic measures.
