Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Matthias Söllner
Prof. Dr. Matthias Söllner heads the research group Information Systems and Systems Development (WISE) and has been a member of the Research Center for Information Systems Design (ITeG) at the University of Kassel since 2019.
A key challenge in the coming decades will be to understand the synergy potential of human and artificial intelligence and, building on this, to design socially desirable systems of hybrid intelligence.
The research group WISE deals with issues relating to the interdisciplinary design of socio-technical systems and conducts research in the fields of trust in and effective use of technology, digital innovations in learning and hybrid intelligence. It thus combines two central research areas at the University of Kassel: empirical education and higher education research and socially useful information technology design.
