In its meeting on August 21, 2023, the Presidential Board of the University of Kassel approved the admission of Prof. Dr. Oliver Hohlfeld as a new member of the Research Center for Information Technology Design (ITeG).

The Internet is the largest distributed system ever build. In his research, Professor Hohlfeld pursues the mission to empirically understand and optimze the Internet. The research and teaching activities in his new group are concerned with the design principles of modern network and distributed systems, as well as their security aspects.
