Successful launch of the “Platform for Privacy”’s new webinar series: Introducing the Fundamentals of Data Protection and Privacy Research

The Plattform Privatheit has launched its new webinar series. Murat Karaboga and Barbara Ferrarese from Fraunhofer ISI will take turns moderating the series. Funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space, we aim to provide early-stage researchers as well as experienced scientists with the fundamentals of data protection and privacy research to support successful interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Maxi Nebel (ITeG, Department of IT Law, University of Kassel) delivered the first presentation, speaking on: The history and core elements of data protection, the GDPR, the AI Regulation, and informational self-determination.
