SFB-Workshop 2021 (virtual, Oct. 4th-5th)
Workshop on "Research Data Management"
Short note
Since the usual scientific content of our workshops (incl. posters) will be handed for us by the "DPG-Spring-Meetings" (moved to autumn), we are planning the last workshop in the first funding period with a slightly different focus on "Research Data Management".
Hopefully a lot of us will meet at the DPG-Spring-Meetings and have lively discussions while keeping the excitement going for the upcoming workshop.
The event on Tuesday, Oct. 5th, will be restricted to 20 people on a first come first serve basis.
Monday 04.10.2021 (virtual meetings)
(the detailed plan will be updated soon)
We invited Prof. Dr. Birgit Gemeinholzer from University Kassel to talk about Research Data Management from a scientists point of view. As a Hands-On part we plan discussions in smaller groups about the research data management done in each group individually considering guiding questions. On top of that we will organize our "traditional" member and early-career-scientist meetings.

In a humorous and at the same time appreciative reflective way, the secrets of improvisation are conveyed through games and exercises. The participants develop their attitude towards presence and presentation and enhance their performance in a playful way. The goal is confident presentation with a personal touch in front of any kind of audience.
Claudia Stump is part of the Improvisationstheater "Für Garderobe keine Haftung" and coaches teams in better presenting, professional appearance, speaking with a pleasant voice, improving the own communication.
