General information
Costs of accommodation and travel to/from Hamburg as well as the workshop dinner on Monday will be covered centrally by the SFB. Travel within Hamburg and other meals must be paid individually (if necessary) and will be reimbursed later by means of normal travel expense reporting through the SFB.
All participants will be accommodated in single rooms in DESY's own hostel located on the campus.

Good to know for your travels
- The CFEL (workshop location) is located near the side entrance (Nebeneingang) of the DESY (check map below). Please take the bus route 2 (OSM) from Hamburg Altona to the bus stop "Luruper Chaussee" to go there directly.
The Cafeteria and the Hostel are located near the main entrance (Haupteingang) (check map below). To go there directly, please take the bus route 1 (OSM) from Hamburg Altona and get off at the bus stop "Zum Hühnengrab (DESY)" in the Notkestraße.
Please note: there is no breakfast at the hostel. You can have breakfast at the cafeteria nearby.
Check-in at the Hostel is possible from 2 pm! The keys can be collected from the doorman at the main entrance.
It is around 15 min walk from the main entrance (Haupteingang) to the side entrance (Nebeneingang).
If you enter the DESY grounds by foot, you can just walk in without having to register or identify yourself. If you are coming by car, you will need a visitor's permit (Besucherticket).
