We warmly welcome Nora Haag, who will be visiting INCHER from June 8 to 19, 2026.

During her research stay at INCHER, Nora Haag will present her dissertation project as part of the INCHER doctoral colloquium and engage in academic exchange with researchers in the field of higher education research. She will also participate in the conference “Hochwertige Bildung für alle? Hochschulbildung im Justizvollzug” to engage with current debates on equity in higher education.

Nora Haag is a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna in the research group Educational Structures & Educational Opportunities. She is currently enrolled in the doctoral programme in Sociology at Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU). Her research focuses on quantitative educational research, particularly on higher education access and social inequality in education. In her thesis, she investigates how social structures and individual social characteristics shape access to tertiary education and how different selection mechanisms affect educational opportunities.
