The contact point “Women in EU Research” (FiF) considers itself to be the central advice centre in Germany for gender and equal opportunities in Horizon Europe. In addition to their own events, they offer invited lectures at universities and research institutions, which are often initiated by equal opportunities officers or EU speakers. A lecture can be an individual event or part of an event or series (e.g. mentoring programmes).
Horizon Europe is the European Union's ninth research framework programme and the world's largest single funding programme for research and innovation. Similar to the previous Horizon 2020 programme, gender and equal opportunities are incorporated as a cross-sectional topic.
