Cultural Program

Included in the program fee is an attractive cultural program. Besides opening and closing ceremonies and leisure activities (theater, movies, sports, hiking and canoe tours, swimming, BBQ, etc.) we organize interesting excursions.

This way, you will be able to learn about Germany beyond the classroom.

Kassel - Following the Paths of the Grimm Brothers

• Information on the life and works of the Grimm Brothers, whose fairy tales such as Snow White and Cinderella are well-known all over the world

Trip to Weimar & Buchenwald

• Follow the paths of German cultural giants such as the poets Goethe and Schiller, the philosopher Nietzsche, and the Bauhaus architects
• Explore the picturesque town centre with its classical buildings, parks and markets
• Visit the nearby memorial of the former concentration camp "Buchenwald" (Audio-Guide)

Optional Trip to Berlin

• City tour through the German capital
• Experience German history and politics in a nutshell
• Meet a Member of Parliament in the Reichstag building
• Clubs, museums, theaters, shopping, currywurst
