Voicemail via telephone

First, please go to the website voice.its.uni-kassel.de and log in with your university account <ukxxxxxxxx> and the corresponding password. Then click on "Passwords" in the menu bar. A list will open where you can click on "Change PIN".

You can enter a new PIN here if you have forgotten the old PIN. Then confirm the new PIN again and click on "Save". Your data has been transferred accordingly.

After you have applied for your service phone, follow these steps to set up or change your voicemail greeting:

1. PIN entry

   • You will be asked for your PIN and asked to press the double cross (#).

2. Setup function

   • All subsequent steps are also communicated to you via a generated voice.
   • Press the button (4) for the "Setup" function.

3. Change greeting

   • Press (1) to change your greetings.
   • Select a greeting in German (1) or English (2).

4. Greeting types

   • There are two greetings: the standard greeting and the alternative greeting.
     • Standard greeting: Callers can leave a message.
     • Alternative greeting: Callers cannot leave a message.

5. Recording or changing a greeting

   • Record a new greeting: Press (1) to record a new greeting personally.
   • Change greeting: Press (2) to switch between standard and alternative greetings.

To activate voicemail, you must first press the "Call forwarding" softkey and then the voicemail icon.

With the comfort telephone, there is an additional step in which you must confirm "Voicemail" by pressing "Open" on the display.
