Final conference of the Transens research project

The final conference of the TRANSENS research project took place at the Leibnizhaus in Hanover from September 13 - 14. More than 200 participants from science, politics and society were able to learn about many topics related to the search for a final storage site for highly radioactive waste in specialist presentations. After five years of intensive collaboration between scientists, representatives of civil society and political actors, this meeting marked the successful conclusion of the research activities.
