On September 18 and 19, the PMDT department and the Chair of Strategy, Innovation and Cooperation (Prof. Dr. Gordon Müller-Seitz) from the RPTU Kaiserslautern organized a colloquium for doctoral students from both departments. Each of the 13 presentations opened up an intensive professional discussion about the doctoral projects. The focus was on

• the research interest and the main research questions of the planned dissertations,
• the theoretical frame of reference, as well as the
• empirical or experimental research design.

The content-related part was flanked by a supporting program that included a guided rally to the remains of the Documenta from several decades, as well as a kayak/SUP contest in the surroundings of the boathouse of the University of Kassel based on the model of the Cambridge-Oxford rivalry. The plan is to further intensify the very successful cooperation between the two universities at this specialist level.
